2GIG LTE cell radio module brings longer-life cellular connectivity and simple installation to 2GIG GC3 systems. Dealers can save time and reduce costs with cost efficient and easy-to-install cell radio modules. 2GIG GC3 has an end-user replaceable cell sled, which eliminates the need for truck rolls. For the end-users 2GIG LTE radios provide better support for cellular connectivity of smart home devices while improving remote control experiences.
The 2GIG-LTEV1-A-GC3 is a 4G LTE radio for the Verizon network to work with Alarm.com. This new radio transfers both data and two-way voice over Verizon's 100% LTE network and VoLTE (Voice over LTE) technology. To enable the 2GIG-LTEV1-A-GC3 radio, the GC3 Panel requires Firmware version 3.1.3 or newer.
